No Waitress?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see Waitress pull off a nomination, but right now, the buzz just isn't favorable.
ReplyDeleteKnocked Up in the running for original screenplay? r u serious?
ReplyDeleteSerious as can be. The Oscar Igloo is predicting it for a nomination, even. There are very few original screenplays this year (unfortunately)
ReplyDeleteLook at it this way, "The 40 Year Old Virgin" was considered a contender for an Original Screenplay nomination.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that Knocked Up has any chance for a nom. Especially if you read the actual screenplay. Like other Appatow projects, much of that was ad-libbed.
ReplyDeleteAs anyone SEEN an American Crime? I haven't either...I don't think it will get a nom, not a wide enough release.
