Academy Award-winning actor, Paul Scofield, famous for his roles in A Man for All Seasons, Quiz Show, and The Crucible (the first for which he won his Oscar) died yesterday at the age of 86. I just watched The Crucible, where he played Danforth, for the first time just yesterday, so this is a bit of a shock for me. I was quite saddened to read this and I am positive his brilliant work will be remembered and continue to impress. My condolences to his family and friends.
