According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) have made an offer to Hugh Jackman to host the Oscars in February. A very interesting choice since comics have taken the stand as of late, but he has won an Emmy for hosting the Tony Awards in 2005 so it will be fun to see the World's Sexiest Man of 2008 trying to make us laugh.
