Dark Knight chances?

As most of you may be aware by now, Warner Bros. have made plans to re-release The Dark Knight in theaters on January 23rd, one day after the announcement of the nominations for this year's race. Of course, the main reason in to reach the $1 billion dollar mark at the domestic and international box-office (it only needs $3.5 million to do so). With the DVD release today, it will be hard to convince people, but you never know. It has also been announced, according to Variety, that the film's score by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard had its disqualification revoked so it is admissible for a nomination, so that is very good news for the film trying to get a Best Picture nom. Good luck!
