I was surprised by some of these but I think it's still a great list of nominees. I was really happy about Marcus Carl Franklin's nomination. Although I didn't love I'm Not There, I really enjoyed his performance. I'm a little disappointed about Waitress only getting 1 nomination though.

The Lookout is nominated for Best First Feature. I'm happy.
Go Angelina!!!
Kinda upset that Keri Russell didn't make it into the BEST ACTRESS category tho.
There goes Russell and probably Linney....and wow Lust, Caution!
I was very surprised and upset about Keri Russell, too, Chris.
I wouldn't say Laura Linney is out of the race, there are a lot of past nominees (and winners) who were in independent films who were not up for the ISA.
Why not:
-Laura Linney, Keri Russell or Nicole Kidman
-Tabu (Why?)
-Joseph Gordon Levitt
