Knightley, Knightley

Hey, before I continue my predix, I would like to ask someone if Kiera Knightley is lead or supporting for Antonement? I haven't read the book, but if you have, could you please say if it's a leading or supporting performance in a comment? Thanks.

I've read the book. I would say for film purposes supporting role. It's going to be starring her, but there is no way this role could be heavy enough for "actress" category at awards even though it is a leading woman role... the academy and elsewhere would put it as supporting since James McAvoy's character is mostly who it centers around and she is his girlfriend on the outside.

Sorry! I dunno what I was thinking. That was a totally weird moment. they would put her in Best Actress category but I don't see this role as being as strong a role as that of Anne Boleyn by Natalie Portman or Cate Blanchett for the Golden Age or Julie Christie for Away from Her. Helena-Bonham Carter is the dark horse i think for Sweeny Todd.

Me too. I can't wait. I like Julie Christie... I think I'll put in Finding Neverland tonight. That's a good mix of Julie, Johnny, and Kate :)
