Things I'm Happy About:
-
The huge support for Once, one of the best films of the year.
- Some Eastern Promises recognition for Viggo. Now only if Cronenberg could get some deserved recognition for his inspired direction...
- The whole Best Actress lineup. From Cotillard to Page, it was all there. The only problem is the lack of Amy Adams...where did her buzz go? Come back, buzz!
- Michael Cera's nomination. Before Juno, I was planning on putting him in my end of the year nominations with Superbad. Now he's in for both in my book. Plus, he was one of the best parts of Arrested Development. It's great to see him honored.
-The continuing support of Lars and the Real Girl. Could Gosling be reentering the race?
-Leslie Mann's nomination for Knocked Up.

Things I'm Not So Happy About:
-
I'm quite pleased with these.

No Country for Old Men will win this? Probably. Michael Clayton leads in nominations (7) so it may give it a run for its money.
