TOP 5 FINAL PREDIX: Best Actress

BEST ACTRESS
1. Julie Christie-Away From Her-She's legendary, she's got a boatload of precursors, she's critically acclaimed...she's just about locked and loaded.

2. Ellen Page-Juno-She's this year's breakthrough character actress. She'll have to settle for that. Unless there's some sort of upset...

3. Marion Cotillard-La Vie En Rose-Refreshing to see that a foreign actress can achieve lock status.

4. Angelina Jolie-A Mighty Heart-I'm not sure how she did it, but the buzz is back and it's golden. She's got everything ready to get a nod.

5. Cate Blanchett-Elizabeth: The Golden Age-To my surprise, it seems that her performance overpowered the film's awful reviews. Can you imagine what a lock she'd be if the film didn't suck?

That's my predictions too... But to the fifth spot would be a little surprise. My perceptions:

Who replaces cate Blanchett?:
1. Amy Adams: Critical and box office success film and beloved caracther. Maybe too Disney?...
2. Laura Linney: The strong posibility to the film (samantha Morton's effect?), maybe would be an Oscar nomination...
3. Keira Knightley: I'm scarred about this (I hate her performance) but it's possible...
4. Anamaria Manrica: It's not the first time than two actresses are nominated by a foreign picture... Plus: The horrible snub of foreign race...
5. Wei Tang: Same reason than Manrica but her performance is a debut and I don't think so (But her performance is great)
6. Helena bonham Carter: Surprise factor?? Possible but she need more support at the AMPAS...
7. Nikki Blonsky: Her Golden gLobe nomination and Critics Choice prize is her mayor happyness...

1. Amy Adams
2. Laura Linney
3. Foreign language actress: Tang Wei or Anamaria Manrica (preference to Anamaria Manrica...)
